Our collaboration started with an in-depth data analysis. We investigated a wide range of data, including the use of cleaning agents and materials, and the impact of this on both the environment and the work. Using the R-ladder methodology, which provides guidelines for making responsible and sustainable choices, we map the current situation and identify where improvement is possible. This research forms the basis for the strategic choices we make.
With the insights from the data analysis, we organize an interactive workshop for the employees of Succes Schoonmaak. During this session, we bring the overarching team together to share experiences and brainstorm about sustainable solutions within the work. Involving the employees is essential for a successful transition to sustainability. By involving them in the process, we create support for the upcoming changes and ensure that the strategies are not only realistic but also practically feasible. In addition, this workshop gives us insight into daily practice, which is crucial for developing the most suitable strategies.
Based on the data analysis and the input from the employees, we will formulate a targeted sustainability strategy together with the management of Succes Schoonmaak. This strategy will not only focus on reducing the ecological footprint, but also on improving the working methods.
After determining the right strategy, we will start with the implementation. Instead of throwing it over the fence, we want to bring about real change. In order to bring about real change, we will have to facilitate new work processes and training that will lead to the correct adaptation of the strategies. In addition, the new working methods will have to be communicated to the customers of Succes Schoonmaak in the right way. So that the difference also becomes visible to them. To ensure that change will take place, sufficient data will be collected in the coming years. This data will provide insight into which change has had an impact in which way.
We are currently still working hard towards the new strategies. But we are already seeing great results with the current elaboration. Because we think that is important, keeping an eye on where you are going and celebrating the important points in between.
